The Australian government has passed a new Centrelink cash boost of \$700, set to be paid in July 2025. Eligibility Requirements for the $700 Centrelink Cash Boost
The $700 cash boost is payable to those who get the main Centrelink payments of Age Pension, JobSeeker Payment, Disability Support Pension, Carer Payment, and Parenting Payment. Those who must have received an eligible benefit on 30th June 2025. There are also income and residency requirements as per Centrelink’s usual method of assessment. Holders of the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card may also be eligible, dependent upon income.
When to Expect Your Payment
Payments will begin being lodged into recipients’ bank accounts from the second week of July 2025. Services Australia says the vast majority of eligible persons shall receive the money by 21st July. No application is required as the payment shall automatically be made to all persons who meet the eligibility criteria. Recipients are encouraged to login to their MyGov accounts to check for further updates and payment confirmation.
